Terms and Conditions

 

Below are the Terms and Conditions for your participation in Bake Buddies 2021 Virtual Cooking Event. Purchasing an event ticket, raffle ticket or merchandise deems your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Purchasing on behalf of another person warrants that you have made the participant aware of our Terms and Conditions and that they have accepted these terms.

 

1. Participant Requirements

 

All attendees are required to register. Bake Buddies will record your details in a secure database to produce registration access.

 

Your payment and registration entitle you to access to the Bake Buddies virtual event.

 

All participants of the event must have a valid Bake Buddies ticket from the Humanitix website. You are not allowed to share the Zoom link with unregistered attendees. If anyone shares the link or unregistered attendees join, they will be removed from the event with no refund.

 

By participating in the virtual event, you agree that Bake Buddies have the right to record, film, live stream or photograph you to be used for or distributed on our social media platforms or website without any further approval from you or any payment to you.

 

You agree that Bake Buddies event reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the event such as name, content, program, speakers, hosts and time.

 

2. Community Guidelines

 

As Bake Buddies is a charity event, we will only accept appropriate behaviour during the event and will not tolerate negative or inappropriate behaviour of any kind.

 

Negative behaviour includes swearing, racism, sexism, homophobia, negative behaviour, inappropriate messages in the chat. If participants engage in any prohibited conduct, they will be immediately removed from the event with no refund.

 

 

3. Prohibited Conduct

 

Bake Buddies has the right to remove anyone from the event, without refund if their behaviour or participation does not meet our community guidelines.

 

Participants are not allowed to record or video the event.

 

By registering for our event, you agree to not sell, trade, transfer or share your access link. If you have been found to share your access link – we will cancel your access with no refund.

 

4. Event Registration Confirmation

 

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure that you have entered a valid email address and check your junk mail.

 

One week prior to the event, you will receive an email with the ingredients needed for our loaded cookie recipe and your zoom access link.

 

5. Privacy

 

Bake Buddies respects the privacy of all participants.

 

All information shared by participants is confidential and will not be shared. Information will only be shared if a participant wins a raffle bundle, and their information will be shared to relevant sponsors for the sole purpose of delivering and receiving their prizes.

 

Bake Buddies works in line with our ticketing services’ privacy policy – Humanitix. This policy can be found on their website - https://www.humanitix.com/au/

 

6. Refund Policy

 

Bake Buddies has a No Refund Policy due to the nature of the event.

 

There will be no refunds for tickets, raffle tickets or merchandise.

 

Tickets cannot be transferred to another name or email address.

 

Refunds will only be issued if Bake Buddies event is cancelled.

 

7. Intellectual Property

 

All intellectual property rights in and to Bake Buddies Event are owned by Bake Buddies, our event sponsors or speakers presenting on behalf of our charity – Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. You may not use any trademarks or trade names used in our event.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

Except as required by law, Bake Buddies or our affiliates are not held liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from the event.

 

9. Raffle Ticket Terms and Conditions

 

Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets that may be purchased.

 

Raffle ticket sales will commence on 17th September 2021 and conclude on 13th October at 12pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.

 

Entrants need not be present to win. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
 

The draw for the winners will take place on 13th October 2021 – during the event

 

The legal age for purchasing raffle tickets is 18. If the winners are under the age of 18 years, the prizes will be awarded to their parents or legal guardians.

 

All winners will be notified by phone or email within 8 days of the winners being drawn. A list of all prizes and winners will be displayed.

 

Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier/website and are correct at the time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars.

 

Bake Buddies is not liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

 

 Bake Buddies will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners and deliver the prizes. If any prizes remain unclaimed Bake Buddies will deal with such prizes in accordance with the law.
